About Me

***Now Taking Bookings***

Having virtually grown up on-stage, La Tosha is well versed in all facets of performing arts both on and off stage.  She is an accomplished dancer, actress, and choreographer, and has extensive experience with the technical behind-the-scenes aspects of the theater.

La Tosha was drawn to the stage from an early age; she began performing at age 3 and has immersed herself in the theater in the years since.  Her dance training includes jazz, tap, ballet and cultural movements.  Dance credits include working with the Arizona Ballet, the Moscow Ballet, The Coexistence Exhibit World Tour in Tucson, and T-Jamz at Universal City Walk in Los Angeles.

La Tosha performed in dozens of shows with KU Studios over a 15 year period.  Over the past 6 years, she has continued her involvement with the organization choreographing, teaching performance classes and assisting with the professional caliber semi-annual stage production.  She has had the privilege of appearing in many shows. Some of her favorite roles include; Rusty in "Footloose", Sophie in "BFG", Phyllis Dale in "42nd Street".

In recent years, La Tosha has pursued her love of choreography, developing and teaching choreography for a number of shows.  Her philosophy is that dance is more than simply movement; it is an outward expression that comes from the heart.  She believes that everyone has the ability to dance and she works to bring out the best in performers to achieve a well round theater experience.  She explains, “Everything I do comes from a place of love, hard work, and crazy passion.”

Her choreography has been seen in such productions as "A Thousand Cranes" and "The Crucible" at Pima Community College, as well as numerous productions with KU Studios over the last decade.

Other credits include being awarded The American Amiter Model & Talent Competition's Overall Talent of the Year, Best Character Dance in the Cinderella International Program, and being named 1st alternate to overall teen crown in the Arizona State Cinderella Program.

La Tosha’s goal is to take on the role of Lead Choreographer for shows of all types.  She is also interested in continue performing, especially in dance roles as well as assisting with stage management.

La Tosha is currently available for hire; including but not limited to: performance, choreography, private dance instruction, pageant coaching and judging.
