except it was never that rough. just your typical mid-middle class black kid with two loving parents, a sister, and a dog that got hit by a car.

fast forward through the braces, the broken hearts, the full-scholarship to college, the drunken parties, the love-hate relationship with NYC (it’s all love now, by the way), the dancing, the writing, the singing, and we press play on photography.


darryl started out shooting headshots for actors and models (and still does), but his photography has catapulted him to red carpet events, runway shows, and (dare I say it) weddings, among other events.
