i am just a small town girl looking to capture beauty through the lens of my canon. what specifically? i'm not sure. let you be my inspiration.

While my forte may reside in portrait photography, I am an avid still-life and wildlife photographer. I also photograph events (Horse shows, weddings, birthday parties, etc) and have photographed journalism. Although I charge for event photography, I almost always shoot for free - and expect the same from a model. I enjoy photographing those who enjoy being photographed, without having to scrounge together a few bucks in this difficult time. First and foremost, it is an art and not a business (to me anyhow). I am very passionate about what I do, and love to work with those who feel the same.

Prices (when applicable) as always, begin as negotiations. A beautiful photo is priceless, and I would love to be able to photograph everyone and everything for no charge. Unfortunately time equals money, and we all have mouths to feed.

Working with me is honestly a fun time. Before we shoot, I always like to sit down and have a relaxing time: ie hang out with the model. A comfortable model means a happy photographer! I am always open to new ideas and love to work with aspiring makeup artists and stylists.

i am currently looking for models willing to get grime on their hands, and are located in or near the surrounding towns: Kingston, Stone Ridge, High Falls, Ellenville, Kerhonkson, Ashokan, New Paltz, Highland - others may be acceptable but at this date and time I am not willing to drive several hours for an unpaid shoot. It's just not economically responsible. Other towns such as Hunter, Tannerville, and Cairo are options as well. New York City is an option, albeit a small one - depending on the situation.

As far as locations go, I usually shoot outside. I learned the art of photographing natural light by working with world famous photographer, David Armstrong. I find it very natural (obviously) and attractive. Years later I would learn the art of dramatic and experimental lighting from none other than David La Chapelle, whom I had the pleasure of working on set with during the recent Heidi Klum Got Milk ad.
