I'm Monique, a 19 year old amateur digital photographer. But no, I'm not a Guy (er, Girl) With Camera.
I'm attending Columbia College Chicago as a photography major.

If you couldn't tell from my photos, I do art photography right now. Some of it is conceptual, some has no meaning at all except for visual appeal. I don't have much interest in fashion photography, and I don't do nudes. I also have absolutely no requirements for how my models should look. I don't take perfect skin, perfect teeth, or a fit body into account. I shoot all levels of "attractiveness" and all body types.

I do a lot of self portraits, but I know I'm no literal model. I'm my own person to practice shooting on. I would like to find more models to shoot during fall of this year and spring of next year for my photo classes.
I cannot compensate for a model's time with cash, sorry. I can trade for a CD of the photos from the shoot only.

I would enjoy doing promotional photos for bands, but I'm quite far away from getting any jobs like that. it is a long term goal.

I use a Canon 40D for my photos as well as a 50mm prime lens and a 28-90 zoom lens. I'm semi skilled in Photoshop CS3 editing.
