Well to start, I really enjoy taking pictures of myself, unfortunately, my parents don't like that very much. XD
The most model experience I've really had has been with a family friend and wedding photographer, Steve Smith in his studio, and a freelance photographer from my church. He did a small photo shoot with my best friend Michelle (he found her "intriguing") in a local cemetary and since she had brought me, he threw me into it as well. I haven't seen the shots yet, but Michelle said I looked pretty good.

Steve's studio is in his basement (where it was cold!) and decked out with lights, props, and drapery. I had fun and he was easy and comfortable to work with.
Recently, I did another shoot with Steve, dressed in cosplay. It was very fun and the pictures came out beautifully, even though my wig kept slipping. XD

My friends and I also make it a hobby to gather at local cemeteries and parks to conduct shoots- usually in fantastical dresses, makeup, and the like.

I've seen some really beautiful photos on DeviantArt, which is what led me to this site. Though I have yet to get my license (lazyyy), I'd love to be able to travel for shoots someday.

I'm sort of a shy person and may need to warm up before I'm ready to step in front of the camera, but I'm generally a friendly person and get along well with most, however I work best when given direction.

I love to tell stories though pictures and dress up, so some of the kind of shoots I imagine doing involve long, flowing dresses and costumes, beautiful landscapes, and are somewhat abstract, I suppose.
That probably doesn't give much away, but isn't that the fun of it? To let your imagination run free?
