MY CURRENT PROJECT (JULY 2017)

I'm planning to make a sculpture of feet as an artistic work. I have exhibited photographic blocks before at the Holmfirth Arts Festival, but this will be my first bronze or resin sculptural  piece. The project will involve feet casting (similar to the casting of babies' feet/hands), these casts being used to create the more hard wearing sculpture in bronze or resin.

I intend to produce a short photographic book of the processes taken in producing the sculpture, as an accompanying item to go with the piece; a history of its creation. I would hope to enter the final work in the Holmfirth Arts Festival which is held each July, aiming for the 2018 showing.

I'm was looking for a model to assist in this project, with feet that I think will look great in a sculpture; my preference is for the second toe to be longer or as long as the big toe - I just think this is a better shape for the casting I have in mind - but this is not essential; overall shape of the feet is the main criteria.

I do now have a model for this project.

Older Information:

I started working with models about ten years ago and have done a dozen shoots or so. I've learnt so much, and have a lot to thank the helpful, friendly models who have worked with me. I want to continue to get better and improve my techniques, and get better images. My lighting is getting better, and I'm trying more moody one directional lighting, and I'm coming to grips with a new camera, which can still occasionally surprise me with why it's suddenly doing something different. But experience will sort these things out, and I am getting some images I'm really pleased with.

I am doing foot fetish shots currently, working from my own home, or at the model's to get different backgrounds and inspiration. I don't do many shoots a year - it's an expensive hobby! - but I like to meet new people, and I give a full set of my images to the model. I also bring biscuits (not jaffa cakes!). Most of the models I've worked with have not done foot photos before, but they all appear to have enjoyed the experience, and for those that don't rate their own feet, perhaps my images will help them see how attractive they are.

I'd also like to do more portraits, and more artistic lighting and arty shots, and I would also like to work with burlesque models.
