Hello, my name is Scott Woerner and I’m a commercial photographer residing in Colorado Springs, CO. For the past several years I’ve been concentrating on travel and adventure photography. Recently I spent three months in Southern Europe and a month sailing along the east coast of Brazil.

Since my return I’ve been doing more advertising and studio work. I’m currently working on a personal project to recreate a series of Gil Elvgren works. This has allowed me to work with several local artists and stylists and get the chance to experiment.

My purpose for joining Model Mayhem is to increase my network of models, make up artists, hairdressers, and stylists. I occasionally do casting calls for local advertising shoots and will also be doing calls for some personal projects. Most of my advertising shoots are on location and my project work is in a downtown studio.

In addition to the camera and lighting work I am also very experienced in Photoshop and other specialized photo retouching programs. I do most of my own commercial retouching and all the retouching on my fine art work. I believe it critical in today’s competitive art industry to be skill in many areas and continue to learn. As such I strive to find collaborative opportunities with novices who can bring a fresh perspective and seasoned pros whose experience can turn a good shoot into something spectacular.
