Hi! My name is Vivian Frerichs and I am a photographer based in Orange County, California. My career as a photographer started with shooting some of the biggest sporting events in California. That was always very exciting and lots of fun!

Now I photograph private events and headshots for actors and portraits for people who need to look fabulous in a photograph.

The people who hire me say I know how to make people feel relaxed in front of the camera, and that is how I get genuine expressions from them.

I photograph people at events in a way that will capture the fun they are having without being an interruption to the fun. I also capture the details of the event to show the story of the occasion.

When it comes to shooting headshots for actors, I know what it’s like to walk in the shoes of an actor because I've been an actor myself and a member of SAG (Screen Actors Guild). I know what casting directors are looking for in a headshot and I know how to craft a headshot for an actor that will help them book more auditions.

Photographing portraits for professionals is also all about getting the right expression that will convey the right message to the viewer. During a photo session, the direction I give to the client will allow them to relax and to get them to a place where they are confident in front of the camera. I give direction and immediate feedback. We review the images immediately. The final result is a photograph that is the best they’ve ever had.
