Well those are the ones I check out from time to time. I did have an awesome abandoned farmyard which I spotted just off the motorway a couple of years ago, spent about an hour finding it.. Had a lovely time shooting in it, the next time I went over there was a big metal gate across the driveway so the photographer I was with parked out front.... Then a grumpy farmer came across and told us to piss off :(

The few times I have asked permission to use outbuildings the farmers have generally been really twattish about it and said no so I just try and be sneaky now ;-)

Only thing I don't do is abandoned hospitals, been to a few and It puts me seriously on edge.

I did have a couple of abandoned cottages up here but there ceilings have caved in because of the heavy snow, kinda sad seeing them deteriorate so quickly :(

Someone tried telling me how to get into it but I'm crap at listening properly and in the end just booked a studio instead. I'm a wimp when it comes to going into creepy old buildings :D

A few months ago my partner and I were checking out an abandoned hotel across the road from his mums house and neither of us could walk through the very open door, then we seen a knife in the car park and decided to come back another time with an army of people :-)

Kinda lucky up this way, we don't have as many undesirables who will ruin such places. You been to the abandoned zoo?
