My background is in travel photography and portraiture; recent exhibitions include a series of portraits made in rural India, and a show called 'Jingu Bashi Baby', about the Gothic Lolita fashion cult in urban Tokyo.

I insist on the highest photographic quality in my work and shoot most of my material on monochrome or colour slide film, using traditional hand printing techniques to get just the look I want. Increasingly I'm using antique, large format cameras which I feel bring something special to the picture making process.

I'm on M.M. because I'm interested in expanding my portfolio and ready to explore new areas of work. I'm looking for creative & artistic collaboration with genuine & interesting people. If those criteria are met I'll consider anything, but I'm definitely not interested in cheesy glamour shoots! I have a special interest in period style work particularly 1920's and would be pleased to hear from anyone who is into the idea, specially if they have convincing clothes and accessories.
