Mary is a small town girl with big dreams.  Her hard work and passion has gotten her to where she is today.  Born and raised in Stockton, California, a place where people get stuck in mundane lifestyles, Mary always had an interest in breaking away.  In hopes of exploring her creativity elsewhere, she spent the first 4 years of her career in the San Francisco Bay Area, gaining experience in the artistry of hair.  This only fed her desire to want more.  With the determination she had inside, she took a leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles, California in hopes of a better career as a hairdresser. 

Mary is now a stylist/colorist at Sit Still Salon in Venice Beach and does freelance work on Fashion Shows, Editorial Photo Shoots, Music Videos, Television, Commercials and Weddings.  To her credit, she has worked backstage at New York Fall Fashion Week for known designers like Tadashi, Levi's, and more.  Some of her editorial and commercial work includes Snoop Dogg's promotional video, Cover shoot with Singer/Song writer Christina Perri, Actress Jamie Alexander (Thor), actor Alexander Lugwig (Hunger Games) for Bello Magazine and more.

Always keeping up to date with all the new trends while appreciating vintage styles, Mary's eagerness in the latest education helps her add to her repertoire.  Using her eye and unique sense of style along with her clients' desires, Mary creates the right hairstyle for each of her varying group of clients.  Mary still believes the most rewarding part of her work is bringing out the beauty of her clients and ultimately making them feel beautiful inside.
