Vishnu Rajan, self-taught portrait photographer. Vishnu's clean, classic images have made him a favorite among art directors, photo editors, publicists and throughout the creative community. His sense of style and personality are reflected in the imagery he creates. The ability to quickly connect with the subject and create a comfortable environment has gained him access to coveted assignments in the music industry and personal work. After establishing himself in the music industry to capture the life of a musician on tour, Vishnu began shooting many of these assignments himself. This gave him a vehicle to explore his photographic style, publish work and build an impressive client base. His innate sense for collaboration and design are a recognized asset to his clientele. Vishnu was born and raised in Kerala, India and spent most of his upbringing in the states and currently resides in New York City working in filmmaking and as a freelance photographer.
