Beauty, in its infinite forms, haunts me, wrestles with me, will not let me be, rarely lets me rest......  I think this is, oftentimes, the Artist's struggle. Of course, this is all a good thing. Without this pull, how could one possibly create?

So I look for that Beauty in All there is. The forest, the desert, mountains, the rugged coastal headlands of the Oregon coast, I look everywhere I go....... 

There is great beauty in all of this but most of all, I feel the power and timelessness of beauty resides in the spirit and form of Woman.......

When creating a lasting, evocative, powerful photograph, there are truly an infinite number of elements that can be brought into play. The bringing together of these various elements to create that mind blowing image, is what makes photography so incredibly exciting to me.

My photographic process begins with a loose set of ideas about where we want to go with the shoot.  Then, what often happens as the shoot progresses, it takes on an energy of its own, the camera becomes an extension of my eye. I become lost in the creative process, time goes away, Magic begins to flow.........

There is a magical oak forest North of Lyle Wa. about 20 miles up the Klickitat River. Approx three hr drive from Portland. An all day shoot. Late April, early May is when I plan to to do this shoot.
