I combine journalism and photography as my way of living. You won't find me describing the same scenes in words and pictures though. Being objective in my stories I want to express my fascination and admiration for the world around me through the pictures I take. With my photography and my articles I show you faces of society.

Photography classes were part of my studies graphic design and journalism. I have been following courses and masterclasses on different subjects. Right now I am studying Photography at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Still I mainly became a photographer by taking my camera everywhere I go.

I love to make expressive portraits and both street and documentary photography. These photos show my background as a journalist. Also the graphic designer speaks through my work and leaves traces in my photography.

I hope to meet models, wardrobe specialists and make up artists on Model Mayhem which whom I can develop artwork with people in it.

I am a professional photographer. I like to do ftp stuff anyway to help nice people out. But only in a professional way. So if you ask me cover your fashion show or whatever, I expect you to be very clear in your request and to treat me (and my fellow photographer and/or assistant) WELL. When you can't deliver, I can't either... ***
