After leaving the Art Institute of Atlanta in 1993, William D. Wood “Woody” moved to Chicago in 1997 where he began his career in the photography industry. Under the watchful eye of a 3rd generation Master Photographer, he began to explore the use of light and composition to create works of art. Soon Woody’s focus transcended into fine art printing which became his area of expertise and led to him being promoted to Production Manager. With digital imaging still in its infancy, Woody moved from the darkroom to a negative scanner and recorder where he began to learn the many facets of image enhancement and color management. Eventually digital capture and output came of age and he found himself working with some of the highest resolution cameras and printers in the industry. In 2004 Woody and his family decided to leave the cold of the Midwest and return to the South where he eventually became  Studio Manager and Digital Artist for one of Atlanta’s top fashion photographers.

Following a decade of enhancing images for studios, celebrities, editorial and corporate clients, Woody has chosen to venture out on his own and offer his services to a broader market. Immortal Imaging is an evolution of his artistic and professional vision composed from the knowledge and experience he has acquired in the industry of digital imaging and photography. Every image he refines, creates and captures is designed to be truly Immortal.
