My focus is Silver Screen Era Hollywood style photographs and lighting. The silver screen era was greatly influenced by classical paintings and theater. Therefore, what you see much of the time is an emphasis on shadow and light as a way to compensate for the lack of realism in the black and white film format. I enjoy working with the drama that light versus shadow has in images.

My work is influenced by Rembrandt, Thomas Moran and Albert Bierstadt to list a few. I have studied photography under Clarence Williams, Betty Press and Keith Fishman. Three very different artists to whom I am eternally thankful for their generous mentorships.

I have a few projects coming up. One project I will be focusing on will be an examination of American stereotypes through installation style photographs. If you enjoy portraying a particular style of Americana or stereotype and will be in the South Mississippi area give me a holler and we'll see about working together.

I am available to do Time for Digital as well as paid work.
