About Me

My love of cars is what got me into photography. I've been shooting motorsports and car shows as a hobby since the early 90s and started providing show coverage for a couple friends in the automotive industry for their websites.

I was the principal photographer for CSCS (Canadian Sport Compact Series) from 2003 to 2009, and have been the principal photographer for StreetConcepts' online automotive lifestyle magazine since 2004.

Being an event photographer of the local import/tuner shows in the Greater Toronto Area has given me a lot of exposure with car show models and their agents, a lot of whom I have since worked with on industry-related projects.
I am expanding my focus into other areas of photography - portraits (baby, families, headshots and weddings to name a few), and am open to experimenting with many different styles and learning as much as I can in doing so.

I have been shooting digital since early 2003 and my equipment includes a Nikon D70 and D300 DSLRs, multiple Nikon (and other brand) Speedlites, Alien Bees/White Lightning studio lighting and various other lighting equipment.

I'm a big fan of strobist-style lighting because I love the portability, flexibility and creative freedom that shooting with off-camera speedlights offers, and also have a lighting kit built around Speedlights.

I also greatly enjoy nature photography and do that more as a hobby whenever and wherever I can.
