I practice the Wet-plate collodion photography process, which was invented in 1851. I use an 8x10 wooden view camera equipped with a lens that was made in 1858. I produce tintypes (on metal) and ambrotypes (on clear and colored glass). The images are one of a kind and there are not many people who practice this art. I do not use digital to achieve the unique results I get with this process. Each image is hand made and several chemicals are involved.
