About Me

My name is Emily and I was born on a cold January morning in 1978, a Tuesday to be precise which should of made me a child full of grace, but something must have gone wrong with that Nursery Rhyme all together when I crash landed on Earth 30 years ago.

I always analyzed the significance of that nursery rhyme, as I never agreed that grace alone was my given trait in retrospect to the birth day I received.  It is supposed to tell a child’s character or future base on the day they were born, therefore I must have been born to grace people with something.

The Monday child is fair in face, and I can scout the most kaleidoscope features from the darkest canvasses, as their is beauty in all subjects I encounter and capture.  The Wednesday child is full of woe, and I have had my fair share of grief, wretchedness and misfortune, that’s where the Thursday child that has far to go hit a soft spot with my life journey.

I always struggled for ways to express myself, it’s a time bomb that I have always had to disengage to balance harmony in myself and through Photography I found the peace I have always longed for.

I am a creature of music, and daydream in the real world, like Friday’s child that is loving and giving I can release my passion for image capturing into the real world. My eccentric techniques and urban style gives me the opportunity to format tale telling images for the world to love, hate, bash, admire, and regardless of the opinion I am getting just what I wanted : for them to be looked at.  Oh, NO - did you just become a fan?  Got cha!

The Saturday child works hard for a living and thus makes me a tad of a workaholic, like many other elements I get addicted to, such as: playing dress-up and reenacting eras that have come and gone, meeting apple-cart turners that assist in my inspiration with their quirks and talents,  and the immaculate changes that Photoshop gives me to reduce insecurities and worries in others.  I guess you could call me Dr. Feel Good, or a mad scientist in the making will also do.

On a softer note, the Sunday child is bonny and blithe and good and gay - I aim to display physical attractiveness or appealing pretty images, in a carefree, casual and lighthearted environment.

In Conclusion, I can honestly say that I am of a different walk of life,  my imagination is always running wild, on an empty tank.  The sound of my drum is often off-beat and I think that is the secret to diversity and an essential key to stirring up highly emotional, vivid, intense  photographs that can’t always be understood in this fixed world our society bases itself on what is acceptable and embraced in the eyes of all it’s people.

I keep my PFT's to a minimum but I am always looking for individuals who want to expand their portfolio's and or assist me with my artistic views, I'd be happy to hear from you.
