Carlos is a freelance photographer, music promoter and the columnist for "True Music" He's home based in Hollywood, California. His family and friends describe him as: creative, eager and kind.

Born in South America, PERU, raised in Los Angeles. His father develops real estate, especially by building modern homes for residential living. One of his grandfathers was a tailor, that explains his adoring appreciation for fashion. And his mother is a working Decorator.

Carlos attended the prestigious “Instituto Superior de Diseno y Publicidad Henri Matisse” where he graduated as "Disenador Grafico Pulicitario" with honors "Diploma al 1er Puesto".

At age 22 he founded one of the very first advertising agencies in Trujillo, "CREAadvertising". He also created the first glossy-full color magazine in his city "SOMOS TRUJILLO". He was recognized as a pioneer and the youngest successful director in the city by The Chambers Of Commerce.

Carlos has over 15 years of working experience in print advertising, graphic design, faux finish painting and photography.

Given his unique cultural background, training, and experience, he brings a sophisticated artistic expressionism to his work. His goal is not to just create an image for his clients, but to create an identifying photograph that creates a lasting impression.

Early on in life, I discovered that happiness is the key to success, and believe that if you love what you are doing, you will be successful. It is inevitable.

I do what I love -- every day. I'm a photographer/music promoter, an artist of light, full of passion and creative vision, in my hands, a camera is my pallet, brush and canvas.
