Award-winning photographer and freelance photojournalist who recently returned to school to study fine arts and creative writing. I love photography and the challenges it poses. At the present, my work may seem one dimensional. (I live on a lake in Virginia and use it as a backdrop in the summer months). In the fall, I plan to concentrate more of studio and fine art photography.
I like to work in natural settings and with ambient light.  I am blessed to live in one of the most beautiful areas in the United States.  The rolling countrysides, lush mountains, and natural and man-made lakes make for perfect backdrops.  I work in a variety of formats including 35mm black and white, and process and develop my own film. My work has been featured in many regional and national publications.
Always looking for models to help build portfolio and explore the creative possibilities.
