Born in Atlanta, GA, Michael Specht didn't know his calling was photography until the ninth grade. Depression and migraines wreaked havoc on his social and physical life. Quitting soccer due to his migraines, Michael was forced to pick up something that filled the hole in his heart that soccer left.  A passion for the arts, and a natural eye for lighting and composition led Michael to discover his talents in the field of traditional and non-traditional photography. He started his career by teaching himself the basics through reading books and websites. When he was admitted to Pace Academy (High School) in Atlanta, GA, he took his first photography class with his former teacher and mentor, France Dorman. There he learned his way around the darkroom and discovered that there were endless possibilities one can achieve with a camera.
    At the age of 17,  was published in the Atlanta Journal Constitution for the first time.  Michael currently studies under world renowned photographer, Canon Explorer of Light, and Print Master, Parish Kohanim.  He continues to draw inspiration from and learn how to "Sculpt Light" from Parish when he is not in School at Eckerd College devoting himself to his school work.
    Michael's Current work is as diverse as the world he photographs.  He just recently traveled to Bhutan and Thailand for a month where he took over 13,000 photographs.  When he isn't shooting photojournalism, Michael shoots weddings and enjoys most of all getting into the studio and studying his favorite photographic styles: Fine Art, Fashion, and Portraiture.

  I will do my best to help you along your way in your modeling career or start up your modeling career.  I will never use a model  just for my own benefits.  I do my best to capture through my lens your physical beauty at it's finest, while also portraying your own personality.  I will always be open for TFP/TFCD shoots to help out my clients in anyway I can.  I always want to get to know you before we even pick up a camera and start shooting so the chemistry is always right.  I never want to do a photo shoot with a stranger.  I will never put up any photos you want to keep private.  I will always keep my word and show respect.  I do not tolerate disrespect or lack of maturity.
    I promise I don't direct the shoot, but collaborate with you, and we will bounce ideas off each other to create a blend of unique styles, looks, and in the end, an amazing final result.  I am always laid back at shoots, but stay focused and always keep the final vision in the back of my mind.
    I love to work with many different people in different styles and techniques to advance my model portfolio as well as make new friends. Hope you enjoy my work and let me know if you would like to shoot!
