Hi!

I'm a makeup artist and Director of a new Makeup Studio opening in May 2012, called Cocoa Bloom. We'll be offering ongoing classes and workshops in our downtown location (Yonge/Wellesley). It's an interactive space for new and experienced makeup enthusiasts to learn more about the business from industry pros. In addition to a 1 week intensive, Makeup 101 Bootcamp Certificate Course (which includes a FREE starter kit- includ. a 28pce eye shadow palette and 15 pro brushes!!!), we offer Trendy workshops and Pro Development Classes (i.e. Custom Colour Blending Mixing Lab).

There will be a team of rotating Makeup/ Hair instructors who work in tv, editorial, film, etc. to give technical tips, business strategy advice, and much more to fellow artists.

We'll also have other industry heavyweights (i.e Platform Artists; Beauty Editors- i.e. former FASHION Beauty Editor, Adriana Ermter; who'll be hosting a workshop in the Fall; Fashion Directors; Corporate Beauty Ambassadors; Stylists' Agents, etc.) to be Guest Speakers. They can give alot of insight into their experience working with Makeup Artists, tips on becoming successful in our field etc.

I'm interested in connecting with Makeup Artists, or anyone in the beauty field (models, photographers, stylists, etc.) to network and foster new business relationships.
