My name is Tanika Hood. I was born in Richmond, Virginia at MCV hospital. I was born on January 19th 1989. I was raised by my grandmother every since I was nine months. My dad was around to help; he played a big role in my life as well. I have attended a many different schools, to name a few, Bensley Elementary, Meadowbrook High School, Stonewall Jackson Middle, and Hanover High School. I started modeling at the age of 13. My first agency was Cameo Models International, right here in Richmond. I learned the basics of modeling, as far as runway, commercials, and commercial print. I have a walk, a great body structure and I am great a posing. I stopped modeling for a while so I could finish school. I ended up getting pregnant with my son Dionte, but that didn’t stop my dream of modeling. I got myself back in shape, worked on a new portfolio and got right back into the market. I am looking for work in runway, commercial, movie production, commercial print, and high fashion. I am a hard worker and I stay focused at all times. I’m easy to get along with and I’m open to new ideas and new people. I’m a fast learner and great listener.
    My goal in modeling is to show the world that dreams do come true. Don’t let anybody ruin your dream, because they are unhappy with their own lives. I also want to make a better life for my son and my grandmother, because they both deserve it. I plan to enter the world modeling and go as long as I can before my looks and style fade away. I would like to work with different magazines, such as Ebony, Vibe, XX-L, etc. The companies I would like to work with range from Coke to Secret. I’m not a picky person when it comes down to it.
    My booking status: I would like to be aware of the job at least 3 weeks in advance, so that I will have time to prepare for it. I would like to know all the information in details ahead of time.
