I am fairly new to photography, having taken it up as a serious hobby during the summer of 2005. I am even newer to portraiture, but I love it and am enjoying the learning process.

And obviously, I am newer still to Model Mayhem, although I know several of its members. I am interested primarily in working with a few models whom I trust, and with whom I feel comfortable, and it goes without saying that the feeling should be mutual. Thus far, I have never marketed any of my images commercially. I prefer using natural or available lighting whenever possible, but accept the flash accessory as being a necessary evil at times. What portraiture I have done thus far consists primarily of head-and-shoulder shots, although I do not wish to limit myself to those. However, I don't want to produce anything that is going to embarrass the model or myself, either now or 20 years down the road. Within those parameters, I'm willing to consider just about anything.

I am not a professional photographer, and do not expect to become one. But I do want to become good enough at some point to have that option, even if I choose not to exercise it. In the meantime, I delight in making women feel beautiful, and have discovered that photography is a very good way to accomplish this.
