I have been shooting world class live entertainment for the last ten years (see http://DwightMcCann.com).

I have a full time, dedicated studio in my home. My blog (DwightMcCann.blogspot.com) has images, equipment reviews and tutorials, and updates on what I am doing including 'behind the scenes' photos. At the moment I am looking to work with models to build their portfolios and Zed cards as I build mine.

I have high end Bowens QUADX and Profoto studio lighting as well as an Explorer 1500, Hensel MPG 1500 portable battery and Honda generator, SunBounce gear and Canon's top-of-the-line digital cameras including 1DX's, 1D Mark IV's, 1Ds Mark III and 5D Mark III.

I am just beginning to do some video and location shoots.

I retired from the University of California at Santa Barbara in early 2012 after 36 years in IT.
