While I lived in NYC (for three years), I was represented by and booked work through an agency. I am now living in Hartford County, and I am no longer working with an agency. At this point, I am interested in modeling as a creative outlet and because I occasionally miss the opportunity to act in front of a camera. I am primarily interested in things that inspire me: incredible wardrobe/costuming, wonderful makeup artistry and hair design, breathtaking concepts and ideas that I simply cannot pass up. I have one small (read: easily hidden) tattoo and my only piercings are in my earlobes.

For trade shoots, I am mostly interested in:
-beauty
-commercial/ commercial print
-tearsheet opportunities
-concepts that inspire me. I miss my involvement in theater terribly, and I relish the opportunity to play a character. Modeling is more than posing. I want to make art. I want to move people.

If you would like to hire me for other things, my rates are both reasonable and flexible.

My Method:
If you are hiring me for a particular assignment, this section is not so relevant. Rest assured that I will understand what is expected of me by the client and deliver it. For the purposes of trade shoots, it should be said that I am primarily reactive: I react to wardrobe, setting, styling, and ultimately the articulated vision of the photographer. My background is in theater, and my modeling is really the captured result of the character I devise with the team and subsequently channel. For this reason, I do my best modeling work with photographers who consider themselves to be director-types. This specifically refers to photographers who have some sort of cinematic idea of the scene they want to create. Photographers who prefer models with a set routine of poses and facial expressions that they work through for every shoot they participate in will likely be displeased with the more theatrical collaborative approach I take to modeling. I do not have pre-set modes that I work through in a shoot. Every photoshoot is a journey of discovery, involving a storyline with characters and emotions and subtexts that we should attempt to convey in still images. I work very hard, as this is my favorite part of the process. If this sounds like something that you as a creative professional understand and appreciate, we should talk. I have great respect and appreciation for nude work, however I am uninterested in posing fully nude myself. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
