Teresa "Taj" Janes is a Licensed Aesthetician/Makeup Artist, Instructor, Face Painter, Nail Technician and Hair Designer with more than 10 years experience specializing in bridal, runway/fashion shows, specials events, tv/film, and photography makeup.  Services available include facials, waxing, makeup artistry, makeup lessons, lash application, body treatments/wraps, manicures, pedicures and pamper parties.

As part of Makeup Artistry services, I also strive to ensure clients understand the importance of proper skin care.  Clients are educated about skin care during makeup artistry services.  Depending on circumstance, clients may receive a mini facial before the makeup application begins.  Clients are encouraged to maintain great skin and overall body care to always look their best.  Relaxing Minds does offer facials and waxing as a separate services to fit our client's needs.

Modeling & Acting Headshots/Comp Cards $150.00+ (2 hrs) -

Print Rates:
Hourly $100+ (Booking-2 hr. minimum-$200+)
Half Day $300+ (4 hrs.)
Full Day $600+ (8 hrs.)
Day & 1/2 Rate $1,000+ (10-12 hrs.)
*rate may change based on number of individuals requiring makeup application. Day rates must be booked in advance, otherwise hourly rate applies.  These rates are negotiable on a case by case basis.  Depending on location, a travel fee may be added. Hairstyling is available upon request.

Additional Fees:

Mileage: If round trip mileage will exceed a total of eighty miles (80) miles, a per mile fee of $ .50 may be charged for each additional mile over the first eighty (80).

Parking: Any parking expenses incurred may be billed to the Client.

Accommodations: If overnight accommodations are required, actual costs may be billed to the Client.

Assistants: Based on the project size and specifications,  assistants may be required to manage client needs. You will be billed $50-75 per hour per assistant. Assistants are billed in one-hour increments with a one-hour minimum charge.

A non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure your booking. 


Makeup Lessons:
Available to teach makeup techniques including daytime, professional, photography, evening, special occasion, etc. Lessons start at $60 per person and include handouts.
