As a photographer, I seek to share captured images through the medium of film (and now digitally) in much the same way that writers, painter, poets, and musicians seek to evoke feelings and reactions through their respective media.

I was born in Hawaii and raised in a military family. Spending much of my childhood in the South, I consider myself a Southerner. 

I like to give the audience the effect of being immersed in the moment with me. I like to think that my color photography depicts the love of composition that draws the eye to the interplay of light, color and shadow.

In black and white my technique runs the gamut from the natural to architectural perspectives emphasizing texture and contrast.
