Bio:
Tia Tormen is a writer, photographer, graphic designer, videographer, video editor, make-up artist and poet. She has also studied psychology and loves to do dream interpretation.
She spends her days working a regular job and her early mornings and evenings writing. When she isn't writing she can be found studying the ancient martial arts, Tang Soo Do Karate and Haidong Gumdo Sword or attending her writing and critique group.
She is a mother of five and has enjoyed every insane minute.

I primarily work with Mark, sydelineworks (MM# 7326) most weekends out of his studio in Cranberry Township. Besides being a photographer and writer, I also do MUA work. I do everything from light glam to the heavier theater or stage styles, hair and costuming.
I also do lighting and set design work.
I love working with a diversity of looks and I'm always on the lookout for creative, artistic people and models to work with for bookcovers, art prints, books, videos and just about any project that seizes me and gets my creative juju flowing.

I DO NOT retouch most of my photos. I might tweak the lighting a bit or remove a bruise or acne mark (things that are temporary on the skin) but that's about it. I think the industry is absolutely flooded with a drive to become plastic looking...something that is completely unrealistic and unhealthy for models.
Note: If you are a retoucher that strives to make people look plastic, fake and unrealistic, don't bother to send me a friend request. We have enough fake everything to deal with in this life without people trying to make young women and men stress out over an unrealistic body image.
I enjoy working with and posting images of REAL human beings.
