Hello all you Above Average models, photographers and all the other professions here on Model mayhem. My name is Arthur Ball, The Above Average Artist.

I work in several mediums of art. I do watercolors, I pencil, Ink, I’m a sculptor and I do a lot of digital art. I specialize in a style of Above Average Art I call PTI. That’s short for Photo Translation Illustration. PTI involves me taking a picture of a model then I use Adobe Illustrator to create an illustration over it. It’s like tracing, but with more style and finesse.

Besides all that I’m also a photographer. I’ve done a whole bunch of on location shoots. I may not be the best photographer, but I am very personable and fun to work with. I believe in giving good direction so the model gives me the best poses. I’m also very professional and I always try to make my models feel comfortable.

When my schedule permits I’m always up for a shoot just for fun or to help a model out. All I want is to use the photos for my portfolio and for art purposes. That being said if you like my art or photography and want to be a part of it just send me a message and let me know.
