    As a Cincinnati, Ohio native, April Spry has been acting in community & High School theatrical productions as well as student films since the age of 5. In High School, Spry studied Meisner at The University of Cincinnati’s prestigious College Conservatory of Music, graduating in 2004 with a Certificate in acting. Afterward, she continued her education at Miami University of Oxford, Ohio as a Theatre major for one year before transferring to a private acting conservatory - The American Musical & Dramatic Academy’s Los Angeles Campus in 2005. There, she studied acting for the camera & stage combat. In 2010, April enrolled at The Margie Haber studios, studying under Zac Barnett. She has also studied & performed improv for 8 years at various schools including I.O. West & Monkey Butler.

    During her time in LA, April acted in several student & independent films. In 2011, April landed her first big part as the lead in an episode of TLC’s nationally broadcast show “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant”. Most recently, April wrapped filming on her webseries “All About April” in the spring of 2012, which she starred in, co-wrote, & produced. And in Summer 2012, wrapped filming for an acting tour called “Kicking America’s Ass”, in which she travelled to 50 states in 50 days to shoot 50 short films. Spry also joined SAG-AFTRA in 2012 & this past summer, relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio where she continues to purse acting full time. She will be moving to New York in the fall of 2013.

I like over-the-top, staged, colorful, outrageous photography. As well as dark & haunting. B&W is great. Awesome ideas? Keep em comin'! NO nudity, NO lounging-in-a-bikini-with-my-legs-open.
