I am looking to expand my network of stylists and models for upcoming shootouts.

'Ardent' means enthusiasm, devotion and passion - a burning desire or love. I chose the name Ardent Photography because everything about the word describes me and my relationship to my work, my clients and my life. I commit myself personally and completely into every thing I do and I do it with passion.

I am a living example of the term "you can be anything you want to be - all you have to do is put your mind to it". When I was in high school I took every art class available. I excelled at painting and drawing and even convinced my principal to allow me to take a photography class in another school district. At 17 I landed an amazing photography assistant job where I learned about studio lighting, posing and set design.

I attended college at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and received my BFA in Graphic Design and my minor in Art History. Straight out of college I worked as a graphic designer and an art director. I produced many logos, websites and packaging for companies such as Good Humor - Breyers, Plexus, Huggies and Oshkosh B'Gosh. After five years of sitting at a desk clicking a mouse I decided I'd rather be clicking a camera.

In May of 2005 Ardent Photography became a reality. That first summer I booked six weddings and booked eleven weddings the next summer. I am currently shooting up to 20 weddings a year along with numerous portrait sessions. I am thrilled beyond belief whenever I get behind the lens and my soul is rejuvenated every time I see the happiness on my client's face.

I am a member of several professional photography associations. Including Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) and the Professional Photographers Association (PPA) were I am currently earning merits for my master of photography and master of electronic imaging degrees.
