BIO

  Name is Jorge Hernandez and I was born in Bronx, N.Y. Oct.10 1972. Grew up and raised in different parts of N.Y . Long Island, Manhattan, and Queens and a little of Puerto Rico. We moved around a lot in the beginning of my life.

    I was the first born, mama's boy to be exact. Had a 4yr. younger brother but Mom kept me closeted to everything sports,  and anything that would get me hurt,dirty. Always had to be dressed nice and always  that has stayed  in my head and brain. So growing up all i could do is think about fashion and clothes always looking good. So while going to school i  would always  look at magazines get G.Q. and learn about clothes,designers, and how to dress and put things together, I loved it all and  it made me feel so good inside, cause i always knew and even to this day. I know i am going to be doing something great in whatever it is. And it's going to be good and that's what's going to make me happy.


    So at 14 I made my mom try to get me into the Modeling Industry. I found some so called Agency's in the newspaper that my mom took me to and finding out all where scams. So she ended up giving up after a while and stop taking me around. And concentrate on High School 2yrs. in N.Y. and my last 2 in R.I. and graduating in "91" and again trying to follow my dreams i ended up graduating from John Casablanca. And then got the craziest idea to sign myself up to the United States Marine Corps.


    Now in C.A. for the first time, and no not to follow my dreams of fashion but the fashions of fatigues. Yes i got lucky to get stationed in Camp Pendleton C.A. Marine Corps Base. And why the Marines? Well i got this idea that i needed something, or missing something and needed to prove to myself that i could do anything i put my mind to and got a lot out of the whole experience, a lot of discipline,friends, and then sum. So made it threw Boot Camp and studied to be a cook in the military  since i went to high school for cooking i said why not keep it going and see where that takes me.


    I did a lot of soul searching in my life growing up. Trying to figure out what i wanted to be, who i was going to be, why am i in this world. All i kept coming up with is Fashion. Getting all kinds of jobs in the retail business womens, mens, fragrances, shoes all aspects of it all. Anything that would teach me and guide me to learn Designers, clothes, understanding the whole outlook of it all.


    Going threw different roads in my life some good, some bad, some really bad and after living 12yrs. in R.I. i decided to move back to good old C.A. and try one more time to pursue in Acting/Modeling and what ever else i can get myself into. Been living in California for a yr. now at 38 and it's been a rough yr. that is for sure. But i am still  Living,Healthy, and have great Parents that they are supporting me even though they wish i came home. But they do know that I am Me and it is important to me. So I have been going to auditions, been in a short film already, live audiences, but no big shot yet. And as they always say you will have many auditions they you wont get, but one day there will be that one. So I have hope and prayer that something soon is going to come out of this all.


    I am here and here to stay  and will not let go of this dream ever again unless something tells me that it is never going to happen. So until then i am pushing my way into this Industry if it's the last thing i do. Plus Now just Started My Own Cleaning Service. And working on that right now in between auditions and running around. Always have to have a back up in life that is for sure and everyone should.
