WOW where do I begin..........Well first off my name is Tameka and I was born in Brooklyn, New York. No(,) I won't say I grew up there because I didn't.  I grew up in Washington D.C (Maryland). Growing up in D.C. I never thought finishing school was going to be in my agenda. However, after losing my oldest brother and moving to Florida (Kissimmee), I finally got to see that there is more to life than the street life. Anyone who has lived in, or visited D.C. would understand that. After Graduating from Poinciana High School class of 2000, I decided to attend college. Two years later and I got my Associates Degree in Computer Graphics…something I never thought I could accomplish, but I did. Being the daughter of a musician that would give his last dollar to his music seemed kind of sick to me growing up. But now that I am in the entertainment world I see that it’s the love of music.

In high school two other females and I planned to become Disc Jockeys, however like always there is that one female that breaks every thing up with jealousy.  After moving to Miami in 2002 I started off as a freelance graphic designer, moved on to booking agent, then to planning local events, and finally to becoming a disc jockey for an underground radio station. Since I became a Radio Personality and I’ve helped numerous artists & companies promote and plan local events.  However, after doing promotion & designs for a local Model agency... modeling just slipped into my agenda unexpectedly.  By doing all of this I decided to start my own promotional company called Mysteria Entertainment (http://www.myesteriaent.com). Which is currently under Construction! In the near future I plan on having my own magazine and incorporate everything I do into one.  Until that day comes I will continue doing graphic design, promotions for artists, modeling and playing music. Not just any music but Neo Soul, Hip-Hop, R&B and old school reggae.
