About Me

Hello my name is Saida Shamen.  I am a Plus Size Model, soon to be 26 years old in March, 5'6 caramel complextion, mixed-Black/Puerto Rican/ and Indian.  Saida is a African name that means- Always Happy and Fortunate. 

In 2000 I moved to NYC to begin my acting career.  I was accepted into American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Weiss Barron TV and Stage acting fine arts school.  While staying in NYC I was discovered by a photographer for Blacque Entertainment.  I have done print and runway work in NYC and MD/DC. 

I have done modeling work in NYC/ Boston/ Canada/ Maryland/ Dristict of Columbia/ and Virginia

I am looking to further my career in the modeling industry.  I am 100% positive that I will gain more relationships with Designers, Photographers, and other fellow Models.  People are Beautiful in every color, nationality, height, weight.  I happen to be on the Plus Size side of the Beauty Scale.
