Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, J Penni Lao was destined for greatness. Her parents are both ethnic Chinese from Cambodia, a small country in Southeast Asia. Being the youngest and only girl in the family, she was raised with a strict schedule, concentrating most of her time in her studies.

In 2005, She graduated from University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology... all the while working full-time at the family restaurant. With her easy-going personality and bright smile, she quickly established a large group of loyal customers... most of whom still come in to visit her to this day.

Having a deep passion for dogs, she left for Texas in February 2007 to become a Certified Canine Behavior and Training Specialist. She stayed there for a year, training dogs and their owners from all walks of life.

J Penni is back in California anxiously awaiting new challenges and ideas to come her way. She is currently working on opening her own business by Summer 2008.

Being constantly mistaken for a model everywhere she goes, there's no time better than the present to finally pursue it. J Penni will probably be the most laid back person you'll ever meet, but when her heart's set on accomplishing something, there's no stopping her!
