SCHMID Reinhard, imaginary art

I'm a visual artist working mainly in the surrealistic and phantastic field.

My work is intended to be aesthetic and I like to play with our comprehension of physics, biology, history and eroticism. Bending one to meet the other, seeming opposites are blended into a fragile balance. Absurd positions, mechanisms and compositions create a sense of twisted humor, often flavored with a hint of subtle obscenity to tempt the viewer to remain and detect the encrypted messages.

My works can be found in private collections in Europe, The U.S.A. and Japan.

Looking for cooperation with photographers and models to create new ideas and reference images for paintings.
