Jaime Howard Hazan currently serves as Founder & Chief Creative Officer of New York Interactive, Inc. a full-service creative boutique that builds unique Websites and produces corporate documentary-style short films for the corporate and not-for-profit sector.  He started the firm after leaving his fulltime job as Senior Graphics Producer at NBC Interactive in 1997.

Hazan, a consummate entrepreneur, has designed extensively for globally recognized brands in several niche markets including:  Professional Sports, Entertainment, Global Politics, High Net-Worth Finance, and Foodservice.  His design credits while at NBC included heading the design of the Award-winning 1996 Olympics Web site, Notre Dame Football and NFLonNBC.

After leaving NBC, Hazan went on to design numerous official Web sites for the National Hockey League including NHL.com and official team site network.
His teamsites included:  The New York Rangers, The Boston Bruins, The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, Chicago Blackhawks, Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and USA Hockey. In coordination with NHL Cyber Enterprises, Hazan the design of the first ever logo launch through the Internet on behalf of the expansion team, The Atlanta Thrashers.   

Hazan’s other professional sports design credits include the redesign of PGA.com for the Professional Golfers Association and the development of World Golf Championships site for The PGA Tour. He designed the on-air brand “Two Days in Paradise” which was produced in connection with Golf Digest for Women that aired on USA Network’s PGA Tour Sunday.

New York Interactive has served clients including The United Nations, Goldman Sachs & Company., SYSCO Corporation, The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, Nation’s Restaurant News, Disney Channel, Knott Capital Management, Tocqueville Asset Management & Kaufman Astoria Studios.  His work has encompassed both Web site development and producing high-impact films that have featured fund manager’s investment philosophies & high-profile corporate executives to globally recognized politicians and dignitaries.

One of Hazan’s most coveted projects was commissioned on behalf of the Office of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to spearhead the brand identity, Website development and 22 documentary films for The Alliance of Civilizations, an initiative aimed at building a bridge between Western Society and Muslim World.  As Executive Producer, Hazan’s film work features documentary-style film biographies of the special appointed high-level group including President Mohammed Khatami of Iran and Archbishop Desmond Tutu of Capetown, South Africa.  These global personalities were shot on location in Doha, Qatar and Istanbul Turkey.  His work was presented at the United Nations General Assembly.  The Website can be viewed at http://www.unaoc.org.

Hazan most recently produced a documentary film for the Multiple Sclerosis Society called “Here and Now” that witnessed the life of a second camera assistant working in the film industry in Los Angeles who was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.  The film was featured in Dallas, TX at the MS Film Festival.

Hazan is the recipient of The Society of Professional Journalists First Place 2004 Feature Story award for his reporting work at LI News Tonight.  Hazan is an accomplished musician, creative director & photographer.

Jaime resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
