Hi there everybody! Thanks for stopping by...I'm currently in transition in my career... In 2006, after working in fashion for about 7 years, I had a huge epiphany. I came across an article about organic clothing which completely altered my fashion consciousness. The article inspired me so much, I ended up spending hours scouring the internet and learning all about the terrible environmental and social effects caused by something that I had loved my entire life - fashion.

However, instead of crawling under a rock with all of my hopes and dreams, I put the pedal to the metal and opened an organic, fair trade clothing store called The Blue Butterfly! The experience was absolutely amazing - I met incredible people, got involved with the local environmental and socially conscious communities, did educational presentations and compiled a database of wonderful clientele. Most importantly though, I raised awareness and got organic, sweatshop-free clothing into South Florida closets!

That brings us to now! My lease is up on my shop at the end of February, so I'm in the process of transitioning into the next phase of my career. I have quite a few projects in the works, but my main focus is on bringing beautiful eco-fashion into the South Florida mainstream and doing educational presentations about eco-friendly, sweatshop-free clothing throughout the tri-county area.
