Off-the-mainstream, in the arts, adventurous, serious, professional, and comfortable in their own skin are those who have been the best people with which to work.  One of my aims is to take a different approach to photographing the portrait (be it clothed or nude) that I hope gets away from the the plethora of images made for the male gaze and moves toward photography about unique light and space in which the human form and presence can be given to move and unfold.

Photography is a collaboration. Time in the studio needs to flow and there is often much laughter.

If you are in Philadelphia, or going to be traveling through and this is something you are interested in doing, let me know.  With at least a few weeks notice I can usually host 1-2 days in return for two-hour evening shoot.. I have a sky lit second floor that you can use for shoots with other photographers. I ask that anyone photographer using the space pay a flat $20 usage fee to help offset maintaining the building.
