BIO: Artist-Activist Extrodinaire. My life in a nutshell:: I began my formal ballet training at the age of 4. I performed in many shows including; Swan Lake, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Sleeping Beauty, Les Sylphides, Carmina Burana, and nine seasons of the Nutcracker. I have also studied dance with the Boston Ballet, University of Michigan, and UCLA. Locally, in Los Angeles, I have performed with Kucoon, The Clan Destino, Stilt Circus, Evaluna, and The Department of Mental Technology. Now, fire ballet, is my specialty.

I took an extended hiatus from my formal dance career to obtain a BA in Psychology and Women's Studies from the University of Michigan including a grand voyage around the world with Semester at Sea. This voyage took me to Cuba, Brazil, South Africa, Kenya, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Japan. The voyage inspired me to become a Peace Corps Volunteer in Cameroon, living in a mud hut, speaking French, and teaching my small village about health issues. This experience propelled me onto my current trajectory, finished my Master's in Public Health at UCLA, and creating bold ARTworks with the Stilt Circus.  I believe that art is one of the most powerful ways to teach and speak to the hearts of people. I hope to inspire others to activate their highest selves, to live in conscious connection with the earth, and to make community service a priority.
