I decided to pick up a camera again after many years of design, print and advertising work for several reasons. Most notably because it is yet another avenue for me to express and develop my creativity.
The age of digital we are currently in makes combining photography with design nearly effortless, allowing the creative process to flow a little better. Everything is now portable and on location shots are explored more every day.
My goals with photography are first to enjoy it! I like the diversity of the art. One day you may be shooting products for promotions and advertising and the next you are exploring the art of models and their interaction. My other goals are to expand my creativity, develop some amazing art and to be able to supplement my income. Afterall, earning money while doing something you actually enjoy means you aren't really 'working' anymore, but getting paid to play and that has to be one of the best things I've ever done!
