Nick Cavazos began his expansive two-decade long carer in New York City as an apprentice to world renowned fashion editorial photographer Chiun-Kai Shih, whose work can be currently seen in publications such as GQ and Vogue. While in New York Nick shot for top modeling agencies including Wilhelmina and Ford Models.

Later Nick utilized his experience and artistic sense to create a new genre of fight photography. This genre combined the raw power of MMA with the aesthetics of fashion editorials.

Nick has done cover photography for TAP OUT Magazine and worked with many world class fighters including Chuck Liddell, Cain Valasquez, Mike Swick, Josh Thomson, Daniel Puder, and Jon Fitch.

Nick has photographed many actors, singers, dancers, and producers including well known Hollywood choreographer / producer Kenny Ortega, (Dirty Dancing, High School Musical, Farris Buhler's Day Off, and Michael Jackson's This Is It), and shot the cover of country artist Jason Deshaw's 2010 Hi-Line album. Recently Nick photographed members of the San Francisco Ballet.

Nick has an extensive fashion and commercial portfolio including top models and brands such as Greg Plitt  and art, fashion, and design brand Trask Ferrero.

Nick is an accomplished pianist and composer. His compositions can be heard on the American Idol Christmas album and the piano album Songs For The Soul is available on iTunes.
