About Me

** Just made the big move from NYC to LA... **

Being beautiful doesn’t make you a model; having a camera doesn’t make me a photographer.  I’m not here to take snapshots of beautiful people, but rather to create connections with people that result in images that are powerful and memorable.

I’ve been working behind the camera in one way or another for more than a dozen years and am here to find inspired, creative people for collaborations that push everyone’s limits to a higher level.  I’ve been on the fringes of this site for a while, but am now ready to jump in with both feet to make some amazing connections.

If you’re someone -- male or female -- with experience that presents depth and diversity through your portfolio, a fun and outgoing personality, and are willing to invest yourself in producing great work, then let’s talk and create.

If you’re new to modeling, I do test on an occasional basis.  But before we schedule a test shoot, you’ll need to convince me that you’ve got a creative vision.  Vision is what sets apart a model’s portfolio images from an attractive person’s school or prom pictures.  Vision can be simple like “heat” or “loneliness” – or it can be more complex like “a black-and-white expression of the color red.”  But vision isn’t “I want to be in Maxim or Playboy” or “I want some fashion images.”  If you’ve got a great look, but don’t have a vision for the images you want to collect, you’re likely to be better off working with other photographers than with me.

There’s a big difference between testing and TFP.  TFP is an attempt to create a model or photographer’s most valuable tool, the portfolio, for nothing.  Testing is work that people do to determine their potential to create together.  Top models and photographers test; they don’t to TFP.

On friends…  I’m selective.  I’d like to be able to use friends and faves on here as a resource to cast for jobs and projects so I’m all about quality as opposed to quantity.  But don’t be shy…tag me, and let’s see what happens.

On communication…  If it comes to the point that we’re going to communicate in greater depth than random tags back-and-forth, I’ll send you my phone number and email address.  Use them.

On geography...    If you're far away, but have good potential and we connect well, I'm willing to work with you on travel expenses and arrangements.  After all, that's why they made airplanes and hotels, right?

And one final thought…  If I ever mention shooting with caution tape or a thong made out of SweetTarts, I humbly ask you to put me out of my misery.  Seriously.
