I'm a photography enthusiast looking to expand my portfolio and continue to develop my photography skills.

I am willing to travel around New England if a shoot peeks my interest. I typically stay around the MA/CT/RI area but you can try and sway me north you NH and VT models and MUAs!

I've started writing articles in the subject Tips for Models by Photographers You may want to read some of the pieces.  You may not agree but these are my opinions on what models, in my experience, could think about before a shoot.

Shoot Schedule

This is a log of shoots and vague concepts. This keeps me and anyone I'm working with involved. If you want to be involved with any of these projects message me.

??? - Concept undecided with Katie looking for MUA

??? - Masquerade shoot - waiting on mask delivery and location permission. Looking for MUA.

May/june 2009 - Car Shoot looking for female models to work with cars, trucks and bikes. MUA and hair stylists also needed. Compensation negotiable.

June/July, 2009 - Trash the dress (wedding) with Michelle. Looking for MUA and hair stylists.

Summer/Fall 2009 - Concept working title 'Done Dancing' Corset/TuTu studio shoot - Looking for model, MUA, Stylist and wardrobe. Worcester MA.

Late June, 2009 - Concept working title 'Alive Again.' Looking for Caucasian brunette model(s), blue eyes preferred but not required - MUA and hair stylist for purity/balloon/cowgirl shoot.  Leicester/Worcester area.  Free dresses to models.

June - Silly Swimming - *think kiddie pool* (she doesn't know it yet but I'm making my friend Nichole do this one!)  Trust me love - you'll like it I'll start harassing you about it come May when it warms up outside!

July/August 2009 - The Painter - Looking for male and female models, hair and MUA as well as some non-toxic finger paint.  Models must provide their own black or white outfits that they don't mind destroying. Location TBD.

July, 2009 - Concept working title "Submerged", beach shoot Looking for male model, female model, hair stylist and MUA. Location Webster MA.

July/Aug, 2009 - Concept working title "Vogue Picnic", Victorian inspired/vintage 70s white sundresses/white pillow, picnic blanket (balloons) in open field 2 models MUA and simple hair. Seeking all parties.

ATTENTION MODELS:

Looking for TF* Studio Time? June - November 2009 I will be offering free TF studio time in Worcester MA for between 4  - 6 models.  I will do my best to supply an MUA/Stylist but nothing is set in stone till we agree on a project.
My only catch is - I will require a $50 Paypal deposit that, $40 will be refunded in cash on site at the shoot (the difference covers Paypal expenses.)  Why? I am paying for this studio time to improve my portfolio and I can't risk a no-show situation; unless I have worked with you in the past - for this specific project this is an absolute MUST.

I have a list of location I'd really like to shoot, but most of them will have to wait until Spring/Summer 2009.  I have an in-home studio which I require every model I have not worked with before to bring an escort to the home studio.  I would not be comfortable walking into a strangers house alone, I don't want you to either.

I'm also very interested building relationships with MUA's in the Worcester area. I haven't done a lot of work involving hair/makeup/wardrobe stylists but I hope to add more such photos to my port over the next year. It is going to be my 2009 goal.

Why I Take Pictures for Free:
I work TFP because I love photography - I have a full time job so my time is limited but you have to go where you passions take you when you can!

I do not have any interest in shooting nudes - it's not my thing.
Implied I am okay with but let's chat about the idea before the shoot as a potential idea.

TFP Expectations
My *typical* schedule and deliverable for TFP

(This is a  tentative schedule because life happens.  If I've worked with you - you have my phone and email - do call if you need anything!)

Within 5 days of the end of the shoot I will post a gallery of comps for the clients (models/mua/stylist etc) to review and provide feedback on.  Comps are absolutely NOT to be used in your portfolios - be patient I will get more shots to you as quickly as I can.
Within 1 week of the shoot I will provide between 1-3 photographs completely edited for an instant gratification for the clients involved.
Over the next 6-8 weeks I will complete editing on approximately 10 photos per hour of shooting.  It takes that long so that I can accommodate more shoots - client (aka paid) shoots as well as work and life.  The edited shots will be emailed to you by request and mailed on a CD to the address provided on your client release form.

All of my edited shots will have a watermark. Why? Cause it's a free shoot.  If you need an un-watermarked photograph please contact me on an individual basis to come to an agreement. Typically at a rate of $30 - 50 per image, bulk purchases available.  Digital negatives of a shoot run $200+ for a full shoot.  So please do not expect your raw shots to be included in your CD - that potentially compromises the integrity of my work - which will come at a cost to you.
