"I always love to look at female photographers work. It is, that wink of sexiness, that makes you long for more. We guys tend to put it all out there. I am trying to work on that. Thanks for the inspiration....."      David Wayne

With over 30yrs behind the camera....

David Wayne can remember making "Six-Million Dollar Man" movies with the family's Super8 Movie film camera. Cutting and splicing that little film by hand to get those Special Effects. Back in the '80s creating a lot of "Music Videos". At age 19, David had two portrait studios open simultaneously, on Whidbey Island and in Mt Vernon, two communities north of Seattle, WA.

"I recall one time Mr. Hambly (my photography professor ) coming into one of my studios and saying. "Dave... Who taught you this?" Why you did, Mr Hambly. You are my teacher! "No Dave I had nothing to do with this. This is YOU!" You can imagine what it felt like being 19 years old and teaching your professor a thing or two...... love you Mr. Hambly."

When people would come into the studio Dave would say "How may I help you?" Many people would look at this 19yr old kid and ask for the photographer. After which he would reply, "I will be your photographer today." "Well can we get the photographer who took the images on the wall?""Hmm? That would be me." "Well can we get the owner?" "Hmmm? That would be me as well." And then they would say,"What about your Dad?" David would then reply "He is a truck driver, trust me you don't wont him taking your portrait."

After discovering that many people coming in to his studio seeking the old guy with glasses, which is who did all the classic portraits back then, David Wayne (DW) returned to film work. Working as a still photographer on movies such as "Cry for the Strangers","War of the Roses", and "Dixie Lanes". When the offer to move to Hollywood came in, DW said, "No thanks!" It was the ' 80s and drugs were everywhere.

So after several smaller films and projects later at the ripe age of 26, DW retired from photography. Vowing to take it back up when, "He"- was that old man with glasses.

At 36, he got the bug back! Keeping up with all the technical stuff never really putting his camera down, if only in his professional life, started shooting fashion/glamor. And did he! Within two years he was back! Shooting for several catalogs and magazines, and Models. MODELS adore him, his big teddy bear appearance can instantly put the models at ease. And his developed style is sought after by some of the big names in the industry. That style..... Cinematic!

Then at 42, DW was the Director of Photography for Roadside Multimedia Inc. a web marketing company located just north of Seattle, WA.

Now... DW has forged a name in the Dental Marketing field and is a sought after screenwriter and producer...

With a cinematic eye, fashion/glamour background and impeccable people skills, David Wayne is on a mission of continuing education.

To be continued...

"Thank You..... Mr. Hambly!"
