Photography, Model Casting, and Coach, Michelle Cascio  helps people interested in modeling get started. Her models have been in Movies like, The Dark Knight, Eagle Eye, and Public Enemy. T.V. shows like ER, and The Beast. Fashion shows in Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison. Most of her models have been signed to large reputable agencies like Ford, BMG, Jennifer’s Talent, and The Rock. One of Cascio’s favorite sayings is, “it’s not that serious”. She got that phrase from a good friend of hers back home in Nashville TN. She brings her Southern Hospitality Mentality to the Great White North.

Michelle conducts monthly Model Workshops. They include people who have been with her and are now models with agencies such as Ford, Jennifer’s Talent, and The Rock, as well as people who are just getting started and are curious about the industry. Open to the public and parent friendly, there is a nice mix of people who attend. Michelle’s veterans help the new hopefuls acclimate to the process. The workshops generally start with a who’s who, which is basically an opportunity for the models to network with one another, and goes on to a particular topic like, “Questions to ask when you get booked for a job”, or “Things you should have in your Model Bag”. Finally the workshops wrap with runway coaching and Q&A.

Once a hopeful decides they would like to continue with Michelle, they set up a meeting. The meeting is set up to give a clear plan for the potential model. The shoot date is scheduled. By the time the meeting is finished the model knows what to wear, where the locations of the shoot will be, and even how to pose.  The day of the shoot the model gets the images on a CD. After the images have been selected, Michelle gives the model her Modeling Agency contacts as well as Casting Directors and Fashion Show Producers. Michelle happens to be married to Tim Cascio, an owner of an award winning marketing firm called G.S. Marketing Group. G.S. Marketing Group has been using Michelle’s models for their client’s catalogues, websites, and print ads. Clients like Adolph Keifer & Associates who generate catalogs each month and need a cover model. Her models are happy to oblige.
