About Me

“All I’ve ever wanted to do was to entertain and make music for the entire world to hear and enjoy. Music is my life.”

This strong statement reflects the feelings of the emerging vocalist/songwriter, Tre Azure.  Born and raised in the windy city of Chicago, making her local rise was done with ease with the powerful voice she possessed and talent stemming straight from her gospel roots.

To no avail, Tre Azure simultaneously emerged as an Entertainer and Basketball Star during her high school years.  She graduated taking a Full-ride Basketball Scholarship to Eastern Illinois in addition to focusing on her studies. She performed at college events and eventually pledged Delta which led to her stage name Tre Azure (derived from the sorority name Tre Azurite meaning “The Rock”).  While paying her dues, she was scouted by the likes of Wayne Williams and R Kelly (Jive), Mike Dunn (Universal) and others seeking her raw talent.  In the beginning of her Junior year, she met Bryan Leach of TVT records who put her in the forefront of Trio group VX3 formerly 6430. VX3 gained experience opening for the likes of Ginuwine, LaTanya and Comedian Rickey Smiley. Unfortunately, after many 3rd member changes with VX3, the woes of a girl group took its toll on Tre Azure.

Fast forward, Tre Azure uprooted her talents to non other than Hollywood. Upon arrival Tre began writing and building relationships with Hit producers Kwame, Kenny Berreal (HitClub, Jamie Foxx Unpredictable album) Tony Dixon (Pentagon) and Jon Street (Stereotypes).

The Newly branded Tre Azure, an unstoppable hit making force, is also known as “The Princess” of Stone Mecca, part of the Wu-Tang Family. She has become a spark plug addition to this powerhouse soul band who comes together to bring back REAL Soul Music.  Performing as a lead vocalist with Stone Mecca has allowed her many opportunities to expose her flexibility and talents.  As Front woman for Stone Mecca she has toured the US, Canada and Norway with the RZA, appeared on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson a number of times and made vocal features on Soundtracks such as the Spike TV’s Animation “AFRO SAMURAI”  and the movie “REPO MEN”.  Most recently and dear to her hear Stone Mecca was nominated for a Grammy (Best R&B performance for the Song she leads “Struggling”) in the top of this 2011 year.  Her strides have been consistent and steaday and her energy never dies. Tre Azure: Focused, Unbreakable, Powerful, Undeniable, Determined…The Rock!
This is Tre Azure!!!!!!!!
