Jessica Castro is a 32 year old Latina, born in heart of Brooklyn who is of Puerto Rican descent. A hard worker, Castro started her career in the entertainment industry at the age of 17 when she entered the pageant circuit. Though she did not place, Castro knew at that moment that the entertainment industry would be her calling. She went on to model for designers, walk runways, appear in magazines and be cast in commercials.  Most recently, Castro had an opportunity of a lifetime of becoming a bride.



As the first Latina on the series, she learned some very interesting lessons on her way to the alter and more so after the big, “I Do.” While she enjoyed being part of such an extreme experiment, she realized that her while her "perfect match" was less than perfect, she was able to find her true calling, becoming a beckon for women who are experiencing domestic abuse. On the show, she went through some tumultuous moments with her now ex-husband resulting in Castro finding the courage to speak her mind and wanting to help other women. This experience gave Castro the platform to serve as an inspiration to thousands via her social media channels. She hopes to help women realize that they should never settle for anything less than respect in any relationships. She is still hoping to find her perfect match but until that day comes she will continue to work to help others
